Nice, family friendly campground. Section B has the best hosts ever. Handy for visiting The Wilds and many other activities. Many activities for the family in the park. Great nature trails. Disc golf available.

The people who work here are helpful and kind. This is a very clean park. I enjoy camping with my Family and my Dog, but if you are not an animal person, they have a place to camp where no dogs are allowed too. There are fun hiking trails that range from easy to difficult, and the Naturalist who works there has Group Night Hikes. He also has special programs for kids and adults alike. The Lake is very pretty, but, there are no water sites. This doesn't take away from the beauty and cleanliness of the Beautiful Campground.

This once amazing sportsmen outdoor area is sadly falling apart and needs up upgrading. While still wonderful for its horse trails and hiking trails, the lake itself is no longer open for public swimming and it's not suggested consuming fish caught from Dillon lake.

Been going here for years and will continue to go great place great campsites not like some campgrounds that didn't have any shade

Pet friendly. Sites large but not private at all. Noisy RV partiers. In general not ideal for tent camping. (At least during popular camping times.) Facilities (shower house and flush toilets) were nice and clean. No place to put trash except in the bathrooms. Camp store is nice and there's great ice cream there and they're open until 9 but don't open very early in the morning. Hiking trails are great if you're a bit more experienced. They do have a couple further from the camp sites that are good for short, easy hikes. Plenty to do in the park including playgrounds in camping loops, ball courts, biking, boating, bridle trails, etc. There's a beach but pets aren't allowed.
